There are six worlds bound together under the care of the Guardian. Each of the worlds has a Watcher who guards the portals and serves as the principal of a school which trains the Chosen. Each of the Watchers have a mystical connection with their own world. They also have a connection with the Guardian and the Watchers on the other five worlds.
Earth’s Watcher, Mariah Templeton is the oldest person alive. She has been Earth’s Watcher for more than 500 years. It is almost time for her to retire. She is waiting for her replacement to come along. Mariah Templeton will recognize the replacement by his or her ability to know things without being told.
